This weekend I went to the Opera for the very first time! It was quuite exciting. In part, becuase the little black dress that I thought didn't fit anymore fit quite well!
Anyway, we saw the Theatre de la Juene Lune's production of Mefistofele. It was interesting because they made the opera quite modern. The set was very modern, as were the costumes. There was also a dog and a chicken in the performance.
The singing was amazing. I wish I could more accurately describe the Opera. It was so cool. I really want to go back to this theater. It has a really neat history. I found some picture of the performance thanks to the June Lune website, but they won't upload to blogger right now. So instead here is a link to pictures.
