School is Cool

We started obedience training again last night. We are now in level two. WOOHOO. Level two is way more intense than level one. Our instructor is really funny, which makes the class more fun. Our class is really big, which is kind of surprising. We have a "special needs" boxer in our class. He's really cute. He's the biggest boxer I have ever seen & his tongue hangs out of his mouth frequently. He is blind, but he does a great job in class. On the other hand, there is a really annoying collie. She's quite loud and rude during class.

Hailey did okay last night. She had a hard time sitting still and there was one technique that she just wouldn't do. Thankfully we had two options to get the same result. We worked on heel-off a little more today and I think she finally has the hang of it. The whole point of the moves was to get Hailey to get into the correct heeling position, which is right next to my left side.

The instructor commented that Hailey was "Stubborn, thick skilled, independent, I want to do it my way, I hate my gentle leader, then finished by saying "too bad your a dog"

He's inspired me to be the Queen B*tch in our house. I can still be as loving to my sweet girl, but when she misbehaves, I need to get a little tougher.

LOL, How can you get tough towards a face like Hailey's? I would melt.
