My husband is on a two day trip to California. He left MN at 9:30pm and arrived in Southern California around 11:50pm. Then the following happened:
* Drive to the hotel, which according to DH was in the ghetto even though it was the Sheraton
* Get key to room
* Take "slow *ss" elevator up to room, try key and it doesn't work
* Go down to lobby and get new key
* Take "slow *ss* elevator up to room try key and it doesn't work
* Hear loud pounding from the inside of room. DH said he didn't remember even grabbing his bags, he booked it not
wanting to find out what was on the inside of his room
* Go downstairs, yell at front desk kid that someone is in his room
* Get upgraded to a suite
* Take "slow *ss" elevator up to suite
* Open door and see an unmade bed and towels on the floor and realize room hasn't been cleaned and it's 1:30 AM
* Call front desk, the tell him they'll send someone up immediately
* 15 minutes later just as DH is about to call front desk, two cleaning ladies come in
* "Rip manager a new one" that they aren't giving him a new room. Manager comps DH's room
* At 2:00 AM DH finally goes to bed
* DH wakes up at 4:30 am, as DH is still on CST.
Poor Guy! And he has to take the red eye home tonight.
