Last night we watched Crash. It was an amazing movie on everyday race relations in Los Angeles. The film stars Sandra Bullock, Thandie Newton, Jerry O'Connell, Ryan Phillipe, Ludacris, Don Cheadle and a bunch of other great actos. It was fascinating. I don't think I've seen such an intense picture since Hotel Rwanda.
Crash shows the bias that every race/culture has against each other and how it effects the world we live in. The movie's characters and their stories are intertwined in a really neat way. Crash really makes you think, which says a lot in my opinion. So many movies are really pointless, it was a joy to watch a movie that meant something.
While, this movie is deserving of many, many awards, it probably won't get any, which is a shame. I highly recommend this movie.
