The shoe that is no more

Last Friday we tried keeping Hailey just in the kitchen. She ran through one of the baby gates and then found a shoe. Actually she dug this shoe out from underneath the bed. So this is what I came home to. It led to a weekend of trying various ways in which we wouldn't have to kennel her. Each time she destroyed something or defecated on the carpet. Our dog has some serious separation anxiety issues. It was really stressful for me. She destroyed three pairs of shoes, left damage in two books and chewed on speaker cords. *sigh*. Anyway, it's only the kennel for her.
